Creamy Spinach Pinwheels
1 package of Crescent Rolls
1 8 oz. package of cream cheese (softened)
1 package of frozen spinach (defrosted and drained)
1 tablespoon minced garlic
¼ cup Parmesan Cheese
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a bowl mix together the softened cream cheese, drained spinach, garlic, cheese, salt and pepper. Pop open can of crescent rolls. It will be divided into 2 sections. Carefully unroll one section and pinch together the seams so it is one piece of dough. Spread half of the spinach mixture over the dough leaving ¼ inch around the edge. Roll the dough long ways, and slice into pieces one inch thick. Place on parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Do the same with the second piece of dough.
Recipe makes 24-30 appetizers depending on size.
